Project Inspiration - Crochet Blankets

   I am really enjoying making a blanket as part of a CAL (crochet a-long), I am loving the 'Mystery' of it and I am finding receiving the pattern bit by bit really helpful, even if I have fallen behind the schedule! I have wanted to make a blanket with lots of different flower squares for ages and the CAL has allowed me to get on with it without being over faced by the whole project...I am viewing it as lots of mini projects and this approach is working well for me.  However, sometimes, it is nice to have a project...

My crochet basket is currently brimming with these stunning Spring inspired colours right now. The colour palette has been inspired by these two lovely Easter treasures that have been gifted to my children in past years.  I chose the beautiful colours from the DROPS Paris cotton range; 16 white, 17 off white, 35 vanilla, 14 strong yellow, 13 orange, 39 pistachio, 23 light grey This week I have been making lots of Daffodils, both at home and during the Easter Crochet workshop at the Studio.
